Job Opportunity: Secretary to the Works Council (Part-Time, 7-Month Project)

Amsterdam | 16 hours/week | Hybrid (Wednesdays in-office + remote Tuesdays & Thursdays)

Start: Mid-May 2025 | Interviews: Week of April 21 (1st round), April 28 (final round)


Join a dynamic international leasing company in the heart of Amsterdam as our new Secretary to the Works Council!

Are you organized, proactive, and experienced in supporting Works Councils? We’re looking for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment and can confidently take the reins in supporting the activities and processes of our Works Council.


About the Role

In this 7-month assignment, you’ll work 16 hours per week and play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Works Council. You will report directly to the Chair of the Works Council and act as the go-to person for coordination, follow-up, and communication.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Follow up on meeting action points and decisions
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Take minutes during Works Council meetings
  • Collaborate with the Communication and HR departments
  • Provide input and support during council discussions
  • Monitor the budget and internal processes related to the Works Council
  • Maintain regular contact with council members and external contacts
  • Agenda Management

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Secretary to a Works Council
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of proactivity and independence
  • Excellent English language skills (spoken & written)
  • Stress-resistant and able to manage multiple tasks smoothly
  • Comfortable navigating within a corporate, international environment
