* Installation and Maintenance: To guarantee effective and secure operations, install, maintain, and repair the facility’s electrical systems and equipment.

* Troubleshooting: To reduce downtime and preserve operational continuity, identify and fix electrical problems.

* Compliance: Verify that all electrical work conforms with GMP guidelines, safety requirements, and electrical codes.

* Preventive Maintenance: To find and fix possible problems before they get worse, do routine inspections and preventive maintenance.

* Documentation: Keep thorough records of all repairs, maintenance, and inspections.

* Cooperation: To support overall facility operations, collaborate closely with other engineering and maintenance personnel.

Minimum training and work history needed for the position:

* Possess two years of work-related experience and an electrical power engineering degree from an accredited university or technical college.

* Possess two years of experience working on projects involving the design and/or construction of low or low/high voltage installations, as well as an electrical power engineering degree from an accredited university or technical college,

* Hold an electrician journeyman’s license, pass an electrical technician exam from Reykjavik University or another accredited technical college, and have two years of experience designing and/or constructing high or low/high voltage installations, or

possess a journeyman’s license as an electrician, pass a master electrician exam from an accredited trade school, and have two years of experience designing and/or building low or low voltage installations.

* C-authorisation for electrical work requiered or fulfilment of C-authorisation fulfiled.
